Frequently Asked Questions

Please email, call, or text us at getclean@ameriprohydrowash.com or 208-502-1161 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes. We have a 1 Million General Liability coverage policy.

Yes. However, we only use a very diluted amount of sodium hypochlorite (bleach), as you would with your clothes when you wash them. This is how we can kill all the organic material growing on the surface of your home. We rinse thoroughly to protect all nearby grass and plant life. This is the most used chemical in the house washing industry and eventually turns to salt.

No. We don’t pressure wash the majority of houses. That’s dangerous for both the technician and the home. Instead, we use a soft wash system to apply very low psi and rinse the home safely and effectively.

Yes. Most houses we wash are done within 1 to 3 hours.

No. As long as animals are put away, windows and doors are shut, and we have access to all four sides of the home, no one is required to be at the house.

Yes, we can safely reach up to 4 stories using our machines.

No. Oil stains can only be removed using chemicals alongside washing the surface. Concrete is very porous, and because of this, oil can go up to 2 inches deep into the concrete. This is why we can not guarantee the complete removal of any oil stain. However, we can drastically lighten the stain and have come as close to new as possible.

It all depends on what we’re working with. Not all surfaces can be treated the same. We have a minimum of $279 for a complete house wash of any 1,1650 sq ft or less property. But to ensure fair pricing to all our customers, we generally charge between $0.17 - $0.25 per sq ft of home.

Yes, we offer 10% for military and first responders. We also offer certain promotions via email throughout the year. So make sure you sign up for our email list! We will never spam you or sell your information.

Removing your window screens ensures we can get 100 percent of the grime trapped by the screens, including dead bugs, pollen, accumulated dirt, etc. We also have a screen washer/scrubber to add a screen cleaning.

Yes, when we quote you a house wash, it is for the entire house, including the exterior of the gutters, downspouts, windows, siding, brick, stone, and vinyl siding.  A house wash does not include the inside of gutters and downspouts, decks, fences, driveways, or sidewalks, nor will it include screened porches (unless you request it as an add-on).

Houses - How often a house needs pressure washing relies on a few variables- if a dense tree canopy surrounds the house, it will likely need once-a-year pressure washing. Houses that get heavy sun without any shade will require less frequent cleaning. It all depends on how much mold and mildew build up on your house. No two houses are alike. It wouldn’t hurt your house if you cleaned it once a year. Your paint life will last longer as mold feeds off paint molecules.

Driveways – we recommend once a year to once every two years.

Decks - we recommend pressure washing when you first notice signs of mold. Mold and fungus are indicators of water collecting on deck surfaces. Since wood is a porous living organism, it will absorb water and eventually rot and decay. Black mold is usually the first indicator of an underlying problem – typically, it is due to gunk, debris collecting between deckboards, and not allowing water to escape between floorboards. This water pooling will cause a large amount of black and green mold, which will eventually cause wood rot. Cleaning your deck once or twice a year will ensure that your deck stays clean and mold-free year-round.

Fences - require cleaning at least every other year. This ensures we can nip any mold in the bud before it gets out of hand. This also allows you to seal and stain your fence, sealing out all moisture and ensuring your wall has a long life.

Pool decks are recommended for cleaning before putting the deck into service for the summer. Pool deck surfaces can become highly slippery and dangerous to walk or, in the case of children, to run on. We encourage our customers to sign up for our pressure washing service plan to ensure these areas aren’t missed before using your pool heavily.

Yes, pricing depends on quantity of work needed.

If someone who books with us gives us your name and phone number, stating that you referred them, we will send you a $25 Amazon gift card! For some, this could be a full-time job :)
